Every weapon in Sons of the Forest: Gun locations & attachments
Sons of the Forest offers players many weapons and guns to use while fighting for survival on the island. With that said, here is our guide to all of the weapons in the game, as well as the gun locations and attachments.
Sons of the Forest crash lands players on a terror-fueled island with a deep mystery that players will uncover as they work towards the end of the game.
During the journey of survival, players will find many items in the game, including weapons that are vital when it comes to fending off the mutants and cannibals that you will often come across on the island’s surface and caves.
Here are all of the Sons of the Forest weapons you can use in the game, as well as the locations of every gun in the game.
Sons of the Forest weapon list: All melee & ranged weapons
There are loads of weapons that players can craft and find in Sons of the Forest, from grenades to the bones of your defeated enemies. Here is every weapon you can use in Sons of the Forest, both melee and ranged:

- Crafted Spear
- Crafted Time Bomb

- Firefighter Axe
- Guitar

Pistol
The Pistol can be found in two locations on the Sons of the Forest map. The first and arguably easiest location to find the Pistol is just off the coast of the western cove. When standing on the beach of the cove, players can look out on the water to see a floating raft.
Swim out and board the raft to find the Pistol on top of a book on the raft’s floor. Beware, as the raft is guarded by sharks, which will appear after you board the raft and try to swim back.
Shotgun
On the northwestern side of the map, players will find a GPS Locator, indicated by a purple marker with an exclamation mark. At this location, players will need to use the shovel to dig up the grave under the cross. In the grave, the Shotgun can be found.
Revolver
Players can find the Revolver on the northeastern side of the map, in the Golf Course Digsite beside a dead worker in the first room.
Stun Gun
Sons of the Forest’s Stun Gun can be found in one of the first caves you’ll find if you spawned on the north side of the map. From this spawn point, follow the coast towards the cove and you should find an inlet that leads to a cave.
Enter the cave and progress through until you find a hanging body that will have the Stun Gun on it.
Rope Gun
In the west, players can find a cave just below a body of water on the map. In this cave, players will need to progress through the cave until they find a suitcase with the Rope Gun in it. They will then need to use the Rope Gun to escape the cave.
