How many endings are in Sons of the Forest?
Sons of the Forest has multiple endings for you to unlock.There are three different endings to Sons of the Forest, including a secret ending, and you can only reach them after collecting the Maintenance Keycard and VIP Keycard. Once that’s done, you’ll visit the final bunker that’s south of the abandoned village.
The ending that you get is determined by your companions and if you picked up the backpack before boarding the rescue helicopter.
Sons of the Forest ending 1
If you retrieve the backpack, the rescue helicopter will leave without you, and you’ll be stuck on the island forever. If you get this ending in Sons of the Forest, you will be awarded the ‘Fight Demons’ achievement.
Sons of the Forest ending 2
If you choose to climb onboard the rescue helicopter as normal then you’ll get off the island. This will grant you the ‘Fought Demons’ achievement and can be seen as the good ending of Sons of the Forest.
How to get the Sons of the Forest true ending
Getting Virginia as a companion unlocks a secret ending in Sons of the Forest.If you get Virginia as a companion and don’t let Kelvin die, both of them will board the helicopter with you. This secret ending will grant you the ‘Keep Your Friends Close’ achievement.
