The fan-favorite Hand Cannon has been unvaulted once again in Fortnite, so here’s where you can find the classic Deagle in Chapter 5 Season 2.

The Fortnite Hand Cannon which is also popularly known as the Deagle is a fan favorite weapon which was first added in Season 5 of the game.

The weapon was unvaulted in the Fortnite 29.10 update, and can currently be found in the game alongside the Banana of the Gods.

So where can you find the Hand Cannon in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, and what are the best attachments that can be used with the Deagle? Here’s everything you need to know.

How to get Fortnite Hand Cannon easily

The Deagle in Fortnite can be found as regular floor loot, or within chests. If you eliminate a player who’s acquired the weapon, you can also pick it up from them after you’ve defeated them.

If you want to get your hands on this weapon easily, then it’s best that you land any POI that has a lot of chests. Since the Hand Cannon is a part of the world loot pool, the more chests you open, the higher your probability of getting this weapon.

The Hand Cannon comes in three different rarities:

  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary

For the most part, the weapon drops without any attachments, but you can visit a mod bench and use attachments to improve its performance.

Best attachments for Deagle in Fortnite

  • Optics: Holo-13
  • Magazine: Speed Mag
  • Underbarrel: Laser
  • Barrel: Muzzle Break

Given that the Hand Cannon is technically a Sidearm in Fortnite, there are a few attachments that can increase its efficiency.

First of all, the Holo-13 optics will give you a 1.3x magnification, which will help you engage targets easily at a slight distance. During gunfights, you can’t take too long to reload your guns, so that’s where the Speed Mag comes in.

Sometimes, when you’re within a closed space, aiming down the sights can be a bit difficult, so use the Laser to increase your accuracy while firing from the hip. Finally, the Muzzle Break reduces the recoil of the weapon.

That sums up everything that you need to know about the Deagle in Fortnite. For more information about the game, be sure to check out the following guides:
