How to remove Alien Parasites in Fortnite Season 7
Fortnite Season 7 has brought an alien invasion to the battle royale. Parasites will soon start popping up to cause havoc across the Island. Here’s how you can deal with these Fortnite Alien Parasites.
There’s a plethora of new content in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 7, including various map changes, new skins, and a new Battle Pass to progress through. The main theme of the new season is marked by an alien invasion.
This attack from outer space will also bring a host of Fortnite Alien Parasites to the Island. These creatures actually grant you some neat perks, but they can also be a hindrance.
Here’s what they do and how you can deal with them.
How to get rid of Alien Parasites in Fortnite
Alien Parasites are upcoming tiny creatures that will often appear in large swarms. You’ll initially find them inside of green eggs across Fortnite Island, and getting close will cause them to hatch and grab your head.

If you’ve seen any of the Alien movies, then you can already picture how these Fortnite Alien Parasites work. They will attach themselves to your face and refuse to let go. Luckily, you’ll still be in full control of your character when this happens.
There are currently only three known ways of removing the alien creature:
- Jumping in some water
- Walking through fire
- Entering a prop
There’s a definite benefit to having these creatures attach themselves to you. They will provide you with “enhanced mobility,” letting you move a bit faster. However, you’ll start losing some of your health to the little critter.
You might be in trouble if there’s no water near your current location on the map. We recommend finding a vehicle or starting a fire in those scenarios before trying to remove the Fortnite Alien Parasites from your face.
How do Alien Parasites work in Fortnite Season 7?
Thanks to some notable Fortnite data miners, we now know a bit more about what these Parasites do, and how they’ll affect gameplay:
- Each parasite has 75 health, while their eggs have 60 health.
- You can find these critters in green eggs across the map.
- The eggs will only hatch when you’re in close proximity.
- You’ll get a warning before they attach to you.
- You can pick up and throw them.
The upcoming Alien Parasites will spawn as green eggs consistently in some places with 100% spawn chance (probably the purple landmarks around the map) and they also spawn in random places with a 66% chance!

While there’s no current release date for when the Alien Parasites will arrive on the Battle Royale map, early rumors suggest that they will be all across different locations on Fortnite Island.
You’ll be able to find their green eggs in the new purple mutated zones. These eggs will appear in large clusters, so you shouldn’t face too much trouble locating them.
