How to merge Fortnite accounts to play on PlayStation, Xbox & Switch

Fortnite can be enjoyed on multiple platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch. To save you from the trouble of making different accounts for each platform, here’s how to merge your Fortnite accounts.
One of the greatest assets that modern-day gaming possesses is cross-platform gaming between the leading game consoles. For years it seemed to be an intangible dream, now, gamers can access this feature in a ton of games like Modern Warfare 2, The Finals, Overwatch 2, and Warzone 2.
But how do you go about transferring your main account to these platforms? Thankfully, the incorporation of cross-platform gaming has made this process easier and we’ll show you how to do this in Fortnite.

How to use your main Fortnite account on different platforms
Cross-platform play means that one friend can be at home firmly fixed on their Xbox Series X, and their friend could be buddied up with them from a coffee shop on the Switch.

The Switch is the perfect example of needing versatile account accessibility as keen players may want to continue their battle royale rumbling elsewhere if their console is not available.
So to ensure you’re boosting those Battle Pass levels from rookie numbers to Fortnite pro numbers on any platform, here’s a simple guide on how to do so.
- Go to the Epic Games website.
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to your account page and look for the Connected Accounts tabs.
- It should then give you the option to connect to GitHub, Twitch, Xbox, PlayStation Network, and Nintendo Switch.
- Select the applicable platforms.
- Sign in to the options you’ve selected to verify your details.
- Once your accounts are connected, you should be good to go.

Just like that, you’ll be able to use your primary Fortnite account across the desired platforms you have connected to meaning your V-Bucks, costumes, Battle Pass, etc, will all be accessible as well.
All that’s left to do is have fun on whichever device you choose to use and try to earn some cross-platform Victory Royales. For similar content, check out the best anime skins in Fortnite, the best Fortnite keybinds, the best landing spots, and how to turn on Visualize Sound Effects settings.
