EA reveal official iconic soundtrack for FIFA 23 World Cup update

Classic FIFA songs are coming to FIFA 23 and Spotify by way of EA’s Ultimate Soundtrack and EA has announced which iconic songs have made the cut ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Prior to the release of FIFA 23, rumors hinted that the soundtrack would be composed of classic FIFA songs. To the disappointment of FIFA 23 fans, this rumored soundtrack failed to make its way to the game at launch. 

Luckily, EA have revealed that a soundtrack comprised of vintage songs will make its way to FIFA 23 with the World Cup update. The Ultimate Soundtrack features iconic FIFA tunes and players have had a say on which songs made the cut.

The World Cup update is hitting FIFA 23 on November 9, just over a week before the tournament kicks off. EA are delivering a ton of content including new game modes, and a FUT takeover featuring World Cup items, rewards, and Token Swaps.

In addition, this festive period will also bring a highly sought-after feature to the FIFA 23 experience. For years, players have been calling for classic FIFA songs to return in some shape or form.

Now, EA have finally announced the Ultimate Soundtrack that will deliver FIFA’s iconic tunes straight to FIFA 23.

How to listen to the Ultimate FIFA 23 World Cup soundtrack?

Voting has concluded, and EA have been able to finally reveal the full extent of the FIFA 23 Ultimate soundtrack including songs from Billy Eilish, Avicii, Imagine Dragons, Muse, and more.

Not only will the Ultimate Soundtrack make its way to FIFA 23 for players to enjoy in-game, but it will also arrive on Spotify, and you can check out the full playlist on Spotify below.

FIFA fans will have the opportunity to bask in nostalgia outside of the game while taking on their daily jog or preparing a meal.

You’ll be able to reminisce about FIFA’s good old days by hopping in a sonic time capsule that is sure to take you down memory lane.
