The release of EA FC 24 is right around the corner and players are eagerly awaiting the game’s early access and the arrival of the Web and Companion Apps to begin their Ultimate Team journey.

EA FC 24 will also introduce different campaigns and Ultimate Team promos that allow players to obtain exclusive content for a limited time.

EA FC 24 RTTK release date

EA Sports have confirmed that the EA FC 24 RTTK campaign will be released on September 29 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST, along with the full release of the game.

Although details haven’t been fully revealed, it’s expected that RTTK will follow the standard format by introducing several special players from UEFA’s most important competitions.

What is Road to the Knockouts in EA FC 24?

Road to the Knockouts in EA FC 24 is an in-game Ultimate Team campaign that allows players to access special cards based on players in UEFA’s three major European competitions including the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League. Moreover, the Women’s UCL could also be included this year with the addition of women’s players to Ultimate Team.

Based on what we have seen in previous years, this event could initially introduce a team made up of 16 stand-out players from the different competitions that should be available in packs.

Additionally, taking FIFA 23 as a reference, the game could also include additional cards through Squad Building Challenges (SBC) and objectives, facilitating access for players to get these exclusive cards.

EA FC 24 RTTK upgrades explained

Traditionally, every RTTK player item has the potential to earn upgrades based on performances during the rest of UEFA tournaments’ group stages, and this is expected to remain true in EA FC 24.

While we don’t know the exact requirements yet, in FIFA 23, a Road to the Knockouts card was eligible for a “win upgrade” if their club secured two victories in their group stage matches and a “qualification upgrade” if their team successfully advanced to the knockout stage of the competition.
