Diablo 4 fans have been quite vocal about the changes they want to see since the beginning of the Season of Blood and now they want major minion buffs for the Necromancer class in the game.

Diablo 4 Season 2 is in full swing and players are busy farming for their builds and making use of their newly acquired Vampiric Powers to take down monsters in Sanctuary. Blizzard have been fixing several issues in Season of Blood with patches and players want some more tweaks to the game.

The Necromancer has been one of the most used classes in D4, as many players have created a build with it in the game. However, Necromancer mains in Season 2 have been complaining about the minions and want them to be more powerful during combat.

Redditor ‘CaligulaZei’ shared a poll from X (formerly Twitter) addressing all the Necromancer mains in Diablo 4 and their demands. According to the poll, 79.2% of Necromancer players want their minions to be buffed at the cost of less power to themselves.

The results were “overwhelmingly” in favor of people wanting stronger minions in Diablo 4, many of them also commented under the OP’s post about their grievances with the minions in the game.

Many claimed that the main point of being a Necromancer main is to let the minions “do all the work.” However, with so many players complaining about them, it seems like they can hardly rest easy while their minions take charge.

Some players sarcastically commented on how if they can’t use their minions, they are basically a “sad sorcerer” by using the Necromancer in D4.

Some Diablo veterans also recalled how they used to let their “minions do their things” in Diablo 2. They also suggested that “making summoning minions a passive ability” could buff them and make them more effective. With the Sacrifice bonuses being quite good, players feel it “far outweighs the use of the minions.”

At the time of writing, it is still unclear if the devs consider this to be an important issue that needs solving. However, with so many patches being deployed recently, there’s every chance that this could be tweaked in the future.
