UPDATE: Microsoft PR says that Xbox Series X’s release date has not changed to Thanksgiving 2020. The company says the release is still planned for “Holiday 2020” alongside the release of Halo Infinite.

“Xbox Series X will be available Holiday 2020 alongside Halo Infinite,” said a Microsoft representative.

Xbox’s MajorNelson also noted this in a tweet:

Original Story:

Microsoft has updated the Xbox Series X website to state that the Xbox Series X will be launching in Thanksgiving 2020, which means late November.

The company thus far only mentioned Holiday 2020 until they updated the Xbox Series X website today to now provide a more specific time frame of Thanksgiving 2020. Thanksgiving is November 26, 2020 this year.

Xbox has announced many details on the new Xbox Series X, including the specs, the console design, and more over the last few months. The company has not provided a price or pre-order information for the console as of now.

If you missed it, here was the Xbox Series X reveal console video, that aired back in December from The Game Awards.
