New playlist update for Call of Duty: WWII now live, includes weapon tuning

As announced earlier this week, Sledgehammer Games has released a new playlist update for Call of Duty: WWII on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One which includes weapon tuning updates today.

SHG shared some of their weapon tuning intentions in a post earlier in January, stating that they were looking for feedback on weapon changes.

Here’s some details for today’s playlist update, with weapon tuning changes listed:

WEAPON TUNING ADJUSTMENTS

  • FG 42
    • Recoil buff
    • Slight fire rate buff
  • Grease Gun
    • Recoil adjustment to give player more control
    • ADS transition time buff
  • Kar98k
    • ADS transition time nerf
  • Lee Enfield
    • ADS transition time buff
  • Combat Shotgun
    • Slight Max Damage range nerf, still overall buff to where it was at launch of game
  • Sawed-Off Shotgun
    • Max and Mid Damage range buff
    • Buff to number of pellets to kill
    • Reload time buff
    • Hip spread nerf

MAPS

  • Moved defensive start spawns in S&D on Sainte Marie du Mont
  • Moved CTF flag positions back on London Docks

Starting next week, SHG has also announced that Winter Carentan will return to the regular MP map rotation for players to play the map.
