According to MW3 dataminers, more figures from popular culture are set to arrive as Operator skins, as Cheech & Chong and NBA star Devin Booker could be making their way to multiplayer and Warzone.

Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone feature so many Operator skins from popular culture it can be hard to keep up. From musicians such as Snoog Doog and 21 Savage to collaborations with major movie franchises such as Dune, Activision have been grafting behind the scenes to get these exciting crossovers.

According to dataminers, MW3 and Warzone players will be getting some brand-new Operator skins inspired by figures from popular culture.

MW3 dataminer spots Cheech & Chong and Devin Booker Operator skins in code

Leaker BobNetworkUK claims that references to Cheech & Chong and Devin Booker have been found in MW3 and Warzone’s code after the Season 2 Reloaded update. This also comes alongside another reference to Snoop Dog, who’s becoming a familiar face in the world of Call of Duty.

Cheech & Chong are a comedy duo from the 1970s and 1980s who are most well known for their films, such as “Up In Smoke” and “Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie.” The characters are known for their hippie nature, most notably their love for marijuana, which is a central aspect of the duo’s comedy.

For those unaware, Devin Booker is an NBA All-Star who plays for the Phoenix Suns. Booker plays in the Shooting Guard position and is considered to be one of the best scorers in the National Basketball Association. The NBA player is also known to enjoy Call of Duty games, specifically Warzone.

Not much is known about these leaked Call of Duty skins, but we suspect Cheech & Chong will arrive in a similar outfit to what they wear in their most popular film, Up In Smoke, while Devin Booker may be kitted in a mil-sim theme similar to fellow NBA player Kevin Durant’s Operator skin.

As soon as we know more about each of these, we’ll be sure to update this piece, so stay tuned. For now, check out why players are roasting the Dune skin in MW3 and Warzone.
