Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Private Beta now live on PlayStation 4
Time to drop in: the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Private Beta is now live exclusively on PlayStation 4!
The servers are up, and players can now get their hands on experience with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s brand new battle royale mode before the October 12 launch.
How to Get Access:
If you had access to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 MP Beta, the Blackout Beta is accessible through the same file on your console. An update released last week that changed the beta from an MP Beta to the Blackout beta, so all players with the file on their PS4 can now get online. No additional codes are needed.
If you did not have access to MP Beta, players who preordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 digitally, the beta is now available for download directly on the PlayStation 4 store. Search for ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta’ on the store to find it and download now. Players who preordered Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 at a retailer, make sure you redeemed the code you received from the retailer at callofduty.com/beta. Activision has sent out emails with beta download codes, which you need to redeem on the PlayStation 4 store — check your emails!
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Private Beta ends on Monday, September 17 at 10AM PT!

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout Private Beta begins on Friday, September 14 at 10AM PT and ends on Monday, September 17 at 10AM PT on Xbox One. The PC Beta also goes live in Early Access on September 14 at 10AM PT for those who pre-purchased Black Ops 4. The PC Blackout Open Beta goes live on September 15 at 10AM PT for all Battle.net users.
