Warzone’s Titanium Trials rewards the best players with Terminator-themed rewards but with the mode being Quads only, players were calling for smaller squad sizes. Raven Software put it to a vote, and are set to add a smaller squad size to the competitive mode.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded included a crossover with the classic Terminator franchise, bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger to both battle royale and Vanguard. That’s not all though, as they also dropped the Titanium Trials mode, a more hardcore version of Warzone where winning grants unique rewards.

With Titanium Trials being a high TTK Squad game, teamwork is key to winning and earning the Ultra Camos. If you can’t pull together a squad of four, you’re resigned to solo queuing, which is a coin flip at best.

Players have been calling for Titanium Trials to cover more Squad sizes, and the devs heard the requests loud and clear. Although there are only a few days left of the event, Raven Software put a Titanium Trials Duos mode to a vote.

Warzone’s developers asked players whether they want to see Titanium Trials replace the regular Duos mode, and put it to a vote on Twitter. At the time of writing with 12 hours left on the poll, 60.3% of the 19,434 users voted for Titanium Trials Duos to replace the regular Duos mode.

The next Warzone playlist update is set for Thursday, so, unless there’s a huge swing in Raven Software’s poll, Titanium Trials Duos should arrive on August 18. With Warzone Pacific Season 5 set to arrive on Wednesday, August 24, this means that Titanium Trials Duos should stick around until the end of the season.

The 40% of players who voted to keep the regular Duos might not be too happy, but it will only last for a few days, then regular Duos should return with the Season 5 update.

Season 5 is set to be Warzone’s final season before Modern Warfare 2 arrives and the game shifts to Warzone 2, for which you can check out the leaked release date.
