Warzone 2 players call for major Caldera change to help TTK problem

The Warzone 2 community would like to see a change made for Warzone Caldera in the sequel, as they claim it could fix the TTK “problem.”

Warzone 2 players were gifted the Season 2 Reloaded update, which brought some meaningful new content such as the Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle and various weapon buffs and nerfs to shift the meta.

That said, players are always looking for ways to improve the experience, not only in the form of buffing certain weapons and highlighting game-breaking glitches, but also by suggesting gameplay changes.

One of the major aspects of gameplay in Warzone 2 is the time-to-kill, also known as TTK. This has been a controversial topic for some time now, as many players feel that they die too fast in Warzone 2.

This has led to people in the community feeling as if the overall base health in Warzone 2 should undergo a change and be increased much like it was in Warzone Caldera.

Reddit user merskrilla put a post up with an image that says “maybe we raise base health – like we did in Caldera, and everyone really enjoyed it??” The OP asked the devs for “at least a test run” with increased base health, but it’s very unlikely to happen.

They aren’t the only ones who feel this could help the game’s TTK, as one comment said: “I think increasing the base health in Al Mazrah would be a good idea.”

On the other hand, many believe that the base health isn’t the main contributor to the game’s quick TTK problem, with comments believing that the devs need to fix their “god damned servers,” claiming that only then would they “actually know if the ttk is wack or not.”

Some even like the TTK, responding to the post by saying “the ttk is fine,” and that “not everyone” enjoyed the TTK change in Warzone 1.

Warzone 2’s TTK is something that the community has complained about since launch, so it doesn’t seem like the devs will be changing the base health of players anytime soon, but that won’t stop the demand for a higher TTK.
