How to unlock Nail Gun in Warzone & Cold War
Warzone and Black Ops Cold War’s Nail Gun continues to be a fun special weapon to use in Call of Duty. Players are still keen to unlock this powerful SMG, and here’s what you’ll need to do.
Along with the MG 82 LMG and C58 Assault Rifle, the Nail Gun added some big spice to Cold War and Warzone with many players eager to unlock and use it. Even with the Season 4 Reloaded update adding new content and even a new gun in the OTs 9 SMG, the Nail Gun has still retained its popularity.
How to Unlock Nail Gun in Warzone and Cold War
Players will be able to unlock the Nail Gun in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War Season 4 in two different ways.

According to the official Call of Duty Blog, you will be able to either acquire this weapon by completing an in-game challenge or getting a blueprint for the Nail Gun by purchasing a bundle in the in-game store for both games.

- Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer / Warzone: Get 5 Eliminations with Special Weapons in 15 different completed matches
- Black Ops Cold War Zombies: In Outbreak, get 25 Kills with Special Weapons in 12 different completed regions
What are Special Weapons in Warzone and Cold War? Nail Gun, Crossbow, Ballistic Knife
Players will find that Special Weapons are a category of secondary weapons that consist of the following items:
- M79 Grenade Launcher
- Nail Gun
- R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow
- Ballistic Knife
The weapons highlighted in bold are the ones you must use to complete the unlock challenges above for the Nail Gun in Warzone and Cold War.
How to get Puncture Wound Nail Gun Frame Work Bundle Blueprint in Cold War & Warzone
Players will be able to automatically acquire this new Season 4 weapon when they purchase the Frame Work Bundle at the launch of the new season. This Frame Work store bundle contains the Puncture Wound blueprint for the Nail Gun.
According to the official description of this weapon, it is a “slow-firing, highly mobile power tool that uses compressed air to launch fast-moving projectiles that deal high damage at close range.”
It is the 1980s precursor to the more futuristic version in Black Ops III and will take down enemies with three shots in Multiplayer. However, players will have to lead their shots with this weapon if their targets are distant.
There are sure to be plenty of community members working to unlock the Nail Gun in Warzone and Black Ops Cold War whenever it becomes available for players to acquire it, with plenty of exciting moments sure to arise out of this unique tool.
