Popular streamer Guy Beahm aka Dr Disrespect had a few things to say about the development of Warzone 2, including what he believes it needs to compete with Fortnite and Apex Legends.

As well as being in the process of developing his own battle royale game, Dr Disrespect has been pretty vocal about his opinions on Warzone. The streamer was once known for his Warzone content, but as of recent, he seems more interested in Apex Legends.

With that being said, in a recent stream, he shared his thoughts on what he feels Warzone 2 needs to do in order to compete with the likes of Apex Legends and Fortnite.

During his stream on May 2, Dr Disrespect shared his views on the state of Warzone, Fortnite, and Apex. The 2x Champion had only good things to say about Fortnite and Apex Legends, while his feelings towards Warzone were much different.

During the stream, Dr Disrespect stated that “Apex is in a great spot, we saw the trailer…overall Apex is just, they’re absolutely crushing it right now,” after watching the Apex Legends Season 13 trailer earlier on in the stream.

The streamer then goes on to say similar things about Fortnite, stating that the game is also “in a good spot,” impressed by its Zero Build mode, and loving the movement in the game.

The conversation around these battle royale games eventually leads to Warzone, which Dr Disrespect says feels like a “lost soul.” Ultimately, the content creator thinks that some changes need to be made for Warzone 2 in order to compete against the likes of Fortnite and Apex Legends.

Dr Disrespect suggests that the Warzone 2 devs focus on a “ranked system, maybe similar to Apex.” He also states that they need to “knock it out of the park” with the “modern fiction and a new modern map.”

We’ll have to wait and see just how much Warzone 2 is looking to change the current Warzone experience, but clearly, Dr Disrespect feels its competitors are currently winning the battle.
