How to make CoD 4’s M16 in Vanguard
The M16 was a powerful Assault Rifle in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and many players will recall its ability to tear through enemies. Now, one player has recreated the weapon for players to use in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is fondly remembered as the game that kicked off the CoD craze. Players love to reminisce about the glory days of CoD Multiplayer. Luckily, you can bask in nostalgia once more and turn those memories into reality.
The M16 is notorious for being the king of burst weapons with its high damage output. There are very few burst weapons in Call of Duty Vanguard and the one burst-fire Assault Rifle is severely underwhelming. Luckily, a burst attachment can turn one Vanguard weapon into the beloved M16.
To recreate CoD 4’s M16, you’ll need the AS44. Recently, the AS44 has been making waves as an up-and-coming Assault Rifle choice in Warzone Pacific Season 1. After many weapons got nerfed via a recent update, the AS44 is rising up the ranks.
Despite its popularity in Warzone, this burst loadout is best suited for Multiplayer. Technically, players can attach burst attachments to other weapons including the G-43 however the best results occur with the AS44.
AS44 Vanguard loadout attachments
- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 420mm Burst
- Optic: Slate Reflector or G16 2.5x
- Stock: Zac 12A
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
- Magazine: 7.62X54MMR 30 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
- Perk: Gung-ho
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
Thanks to the AS44’s excellent fire rate, you’ll be able to get your shots off quickly. The AS44 is the Vanguard weapon that best replicates the original M16 aesthetic.
Although you can switch out most of the attachments to suit your play style, the Kovalevskaya 420mm Burst is a requirement.
Of course, these are our recommended attachments to produce the best results.
There you have it, CoD 4’s M16 is ready for battle. Transforming Vanguard’s AS44 into the M16 we know and love is a must-try for anyone who enjoys using burst weapons.
