The new Crash Team Rumble bundle in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 has been temporarily removed, following a mixup in pricing that saw the Tracer Pack cost almost as much as the game itself.

The Call of Duty series is no stranger to crossovers with other major franchises. In Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 alone players have been treated to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Kevin Durant bundles, with The Boys collaboration still to come.

Following the launch of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 4, a new bundle hit the CoD Store on June 20 to celebrate the launch of another Activision title: Crash Team Rumble. The bundle included two Weapon Blueprints, along with a host of other Crash-themed cosmetics.

However, the Crash Bandicoot Tracer Pack has now been removed from the store after the devs realized they were charging more than originally advertised.

When it was first announced, the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Crash Bandicoot bundle was set to cost 1,800 CoD Points, which equates to around $17 / £14.60. But when it finally arrived in-game, players were spending 2,400 CoD Points to unlock it, which costs $19.99 / £16.79.

The Crash Team Rumble bundle was later removed, with the devs tweeting: “The Tracer Pack: Crash Bandicoot Bundle is temporarily unavailable in the Store while we correct the price to 1800 CP. It will return to the Store soon.”

In a follow-up tweet, the devs also confirmed that anyone who purchased the bundle for 2,400 CoD Points will be “refunded 600 CoD Points.”

Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 players will be relieved to hear that they will receive a partial refund and that the bundle is set to be reduced in price. Fans on Reddit even pointed out that the $20, or $25 in Canada, that it previously cost made it only slightly cheaper than the full Crash Team Rumble game itself, which is listed for around $30.

The devs are yet to confirm when the Crash Team Rumble bundle will be added back to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, but fans can expect it in the coming days.
