How to make the Gunship Scorestreak even more powerful in Black Ops Cold War
Scorestreaks are incredibly valuable in Black Ops Cold War, and we’ve put together a quick guide to show you how to make the game’s most expensive Scorestreak even more destructive.
Unbeknown to most, the Gunship Scorestreak actually contains hidden power. True, unless you have the Care Package Scorestreak equipped, or you’re an adept thief, then a Gunship will be very hard to obtain for most.
They require a staggering 10,000 points, and you need to have a really hot killstreak or two during a game. But once you do get one, it rains down three different variations of death onto the battlefield and changes the tide of any game.
But it has a hidden secret that most players are not aware of, and here’s a useful guide to maximize its already obscene potential.
Cold War’s Gunship Scorestreak can be controlled by the AI
With the best guns in Cold War equipped, and the most powerful Scorestreaks on your side to decimate the opposition, you need to be patient, skillful and accumulate those 10,000 points as quickly as you can.
Speed is crucial because you don’t want to earn the Gunship, and the game ends before you’ve used it, or allow the enemy team to gather their own Scorestreaks and make your task harder.
Once the prompt has appeared to use your Gunship, all you need to do is simply hold down the Square button on PlayStation or X button on Xbox, and your character will automatically exit the Gunship’s cockpit.
But instead of the Gunship flying away, it will continue to roam the airspace above the map, and the AI will launch various attacks at enemies.
This of course comes with advantages and disadvantages. AI is completely unpredictable, and may not make full use of a Gunship in the way a human would.
On the other hand, letting the AI take control of the skies gives you more time to inflict pain and punishment on the ground, and the AI should also prove to be a bit more accurate.
