Blueprints are a vital part of Black Ops Cold War, but many players have reported problems with them in Season 5, and developers have addressed these issues.

Black Ops Cold War is now in Season 5 territory, and there’s plenty of new content for fans to sort through, including various new weapons to master. However, every update comes with a few problems.

Various players reported issues when applying Blueprints as soon as Season 5 went live, and this was brought to the attention of the developers. Now, they’ve responded to this ongoing issue.

TreyarchCM reassured fans that they’re aware of the issues with Blueprints in Season 5 by sharing a Trello card for it. This means that the developers are currently investigating and working on a fix for the problem.

“Context: This was originally reported to us and acknowledged at the launch of Season 5 on Reddit,” the devs tweeted. “We’ve also acknowledged it in a few tweets and other Reddit posts too, but the Trello card trailed as more details were shared.”

One of the common issues with the Blueprints is that they will duplicate weapons that you apply them to, and you cannot swap the duplicated weapon for another one in Outbreak.

While this announcement was met with a positive response from most fans in the replies, some were not so pleased. “Blueprints have been broken the second they launched,” wrote one user. “I refuse to believe no one saw or said anything about that for 4 months.”

Blueprints are a vital part of Black Ops Cold War, and getting stuck with a duplicate weapon that you can’t swap can be frustrating. So, it’s reassuring to know that the developers are looking into the problem.

Hopefully, the next update will patch up all the current issues with the Blueprints once and for all. Be sure to check out how to play the Call of Duty: Vanguard Alpha.
