Bizarre Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Easter egg has droids swap blasters for paintbrushes
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is packed full of secrets to discover, and players have uncovered a hidden Easter egg that sees Battle Droids embrace their artistic side instead of the dark side.
Over the course of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor‘s main story, Cal Kestis and the Mantis crew visit plenty of huge planets that can be freely explored. With so many large areas to poke around in, it’s no surprise that there are a ton of secrets to track down.
These range from hidden puzzles that unlock upgrades for Cal, to hilarious Easter eggs tucked away by the developers for fans to find.
One of the most bizarre Easter eggs found so far sees Star Wars Jedi: Survivor’s Battle Droids putting down their blaster and picking up a paintbrush.
By climbing through a hidden gap on the planet Koboh, players can make their way into a secret room where a Wampa is posing on a rug surrounded by B1-series Battle Droids, who are attempting to draw the creature.
As you’d expect, the drawings aren’t exactly museum-worthy, most likely due to the fact that one of the droids is missing a head. However, this isn’t their first attempt, as a number of self-portraits can be found on the bench behind them.
The scene is completely static and players can’t engage with the enemies in any way, but this is still a fun and unexpected secret included by the devs.
Where to find drawing droids Easter egg in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor
The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor drawing droids Easter egg can be found in the Harvest Ridge section of the planet Koboh. It’s not too far away from the Mantis’ location, but you will need to ride a Nekko to access reach the required area.
We’ve included a step-by-step guide below:
- Travel to Koboh and mount a Nekko.
- Head over to the Harvest Ridge.
- Enter the cave on left.
- Jump off the Nekko onto the climbable pillar in the middle.
- Climb onto the ceiling over to the ledge with the light.
- Head through the gap in the wall on the right.
- Continues for around two minutes until you reach the secret room.
It takes an extremely long time for Cal to shuffle through the wall and into the room where the drawing is taking place, but rest assured that the game isn’t glitched and that you are on the right track.
Luckily, once you’re done admiring the artwork, you can make a much quicker exit by slipping through another gap in the wall behind the Wampa.
While this hilarious Easter egg doesn’t progress the story in any way and isn’t tied to an achievement or trophy, it’s still a neat little addition that’s well worth checking out for yourself.
