Baldur’s Gate 3, one of the most comprehensive games in recent times, offers a rich solo-play experience on multiple platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. But does it support multiplayer mode? Let’s take a look at whether there is multiplayer and co-op in Baldur’s Gate 3.

With features such as crossplay and cross-platform progression becoming mainstream, multiplayer games have seen a significant rise in popularity. Major 2023 releases like Diablo 4, Remnant 2, and Armored Core 6 have embraced this trend, enabling players to join forces, leading many to anticipate that Baldur’s Gate 3 would follow suit.

Following its highly successful PC and PS5 launch, Baldur’s Gate 3 saw a substantial increase in its player base. It’s reasonable to assume that not all of these players will want to traverse Faerun solo, as teaming up with friends can unlock a lot of exciting gameplay possibilities.

On that note, here’s everything to know about the multiplayer and co-op modes in Baldur’s Gate 3.
