Baldur’s Gate 3 has multiple companions that you can befriend or even romance during your journey through the Sword Coast. If you’re romancing one of them, there’s a short encounter late in the game where you can put your love to the test.
You can take the test of love in Baldur’s Gate 3 with the Trial of Love quest in the Circus of the Last Days in Act 3. This involves answering three different questions and getting a perfect score will work wonders for your relationship.

How to start Trial of Love in Baldur’s Gate 3
To start the Trial of Love quest in Baldur’s Gate 3, enter the Circus of the Last Days and find the dryad Zethino.

Zethino is standing beneath a large tree in the center of the grounds. This is also where you get the quest to find all of Dribbles the Clown’s body parts. Speak with her and she’ll ask you to take a Trial of Love with someone. You can only select one character for the test, even if you romance more than one in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Zethino will ask you different questions in Baldur’s Gate 3 depending on the companion you choose. Some of your companions might not like honest responses to questions. If you don’t want to lose favor with them, you must be mindful of your responses.
