Respawn Entertainment officially revealed gameplay for their new Apex Legends Storm Point map arriving in Season 11, here’s every single POI the map will contain.

The Apex Legends devs and players alike are now gearing up for Season 11‘s release, which looks to bring a bunch of new content to keep the battle royale fresh and exciting.

The most recent gameplay reveal showed off the brand new Apex Legends Storm Point map, which brings a tropical setting to the combat. Although there have been some concerns, overall players have been lifting wanting to see more, as the map does look beautiful.

With that being said, here are the names and some images of every single POI on Storm Point.

Apex Legends Storm Point map POIs

Apex Legends Storm Point

As well as bringing an abundance of wildlife, Storm Point also has a lot of variety in terms of terrain and named locations.

The latest EA blog post on the Apex Legends Storm Point map did also indicate that the map has a load of unnamed locations across the tropical island, some of which have more than enough loot for you and the team.

However, one thing is for sure, players will want to land at some of the more prominent named POIs to secure and guarantee themselves the best loot, so here are all the locations you’ll be diving into.

Barometer

Barometer

The Barometer is the heart of Storm Point. A spinning platform with a honeypot of loot is overlooked by a research tower that gives a height advantage but is challenging to defend against attackers.

It looks like Barometer will be on the southern side of the map, being surrounded by shallow waters. Further, Barometer will have three Gravity Cannons, which are replacing “nearly all the redeploy balloons.”

Command Center

Command Center

Built inside of the mountain, the Command Center is a massive complex that’s rich in loot and which allows players to dive into its heart from the dropship.

It is also an excellent method for getting to the top of the mountain while protected by using a network of the longest ziplines in the Apex Games to date.

The Antenna

The Antenna

The Antenna is a drop location divided by a network of catwalks positioned above a massive communications dish. Make your way across these catwalks or slide to the bottom of the Antenna to zipline your way up to the center.

Checkpoint

Checkpoint

Suspended over a dense forest, Checkpoint allows you to disengage from an intense fight in new ways. If you are overwhelmed, jump off the platform in the forest below to change the engagement.

Highpoint

Highpoint is the home to the only redeploy balloon on the map, sits at the top of the longest hill, and is a vital chokepoint to the top of the mountain. In a standoff look around, you may discover hidden tunnels that allow you to flake around it.

As Storm Point acts as one huge mountain, with the map declining towards the beach, Highpoint could be very advantageous as an initial drop, especially as it has the only redeploy beacon on the map.

Lightning Rod

Lightning Rod

Lightning Rod is a landing position located at the pinnacle of the mountain and is divided into two halves by a focused and intense bridge. The station’s top is the highest position on the map and is a crucial stronghold if the ring ends there.

Storm Catcher

Storm Catcher

Suspended over a large area, Storm Catcher is an interior location with a focus on close-quarter combat. Position yourself on its exterior balconies to open up long-range combat against strong, defendable bases on either of its sides.

This location looks great, but also could be a bit of a nightmare when players are rotating towards the circle, as it’s situated in between a choke point.

North Pad

North Pad

The North Pad is a launch site that contains a network of protected trenches that allow safe passage over a wide range of rolling hills. Separating these trenches are underground bunkers and small watchpoints with loot.

Be careful though, as the location is close to Checkpoint and overlooked by The Wall, so watch out for teams trying to shoot down on you.

The Mill

The Mill

Located at the farthest western position, the Mill’s circular interior space contains high-value loot and the entryway towards the center river.

Although it doesn’t look like much, this location could be great for those teams that like landing on the edge, collecting their loot, and then walking into the more dense areas of the map.

Shipfall

Shipfall

The remnants of the original survivors of Storm Point, Shipfall, is all that remains of the doomed vessel. Eroded over decades, the engine section is still intact and is a stronghold if you can fight your way through it.

Cenote Cave

A secure network of coral reef caves, the Cenote is the most isolated section of the map and is filled with valuable loot and power positions. Located at the southernmost western corner, it is also a critical path between the Barometer and the entire western half of the island.

This could be a very popular landing spot, especially considering it’s mostly isolated, with the opportunity for fights without worrying about a third party pulling up.

The Wall

The great divider between the northern beach and the mountain, the Wall is a critical landing spot for those who seek combat—it acts as the chokepoint between two significant sections of the map.

Although there is no official image of this location, it can be seen throughout the trailer, standing tall in the background.

Thunder Watch

A gateway to the top of the mountain, its interior is a tightly focused close-quarter combat area with a Gravity Cannon that allows for quick access from the bottom of the mountain and a quick escape, if needed.

Cascade Falls

A dense cluster of buildings placed near the waterfall, Cascade Falls acts as a focal point of the map due to its proximity to the map’s center, making it the most traveled point of interest. Take that into account before deciding to land there on the initial drop.

This could be a busy drop, and although there isn’t an official image, we suspect this screenshot from the gameplay trailer is the POI in action.

Launch Site

The Launch Site sits in an alcove at the river’s end and is a large area identified by two distinct landing zones: the outstretched landing pad and the control building. Try landing on one of its three distinctive outstretched pads and loot your way towards the control building.

Fish Farms

A chain of islands separated by open water, the Fish Farms is a large area with a clean separation between the lootable buildings.

Cross the open water cautiously, or use the Trident to hover along the waterways.

Gale Stations

A sibling landing location to the Fish Farms, Gale Station acts as a divider between the island’s center and the southern section. What it lacks in loot quantity makes up for loot quality and its power position over the Fish Farms.

In the final scene of the trailer, the camera pans over Fish Farm and Gale Station, showing both locations. Gale Station seems to have these blue towers that act as sort of gales in the wind. The location is close to Fish Farm and may even have some height over the POI.

Well there you have it, that’s every POI on the new Apex Legends Storm Point map releasing in Season 11: Escape. Make sure you check out how to check the ALGS standings for more Apex Legends content.
