Since the official reveal of Apex Legends’ latest character, Valkyrie, the developers have released some interesting videos over on their Instagram page.

In the most recent news for Apex Legends, fans finally got to see the latest Legend, Valkyrie arriving in Season 9: Legacy.

It seems the developers were feeling extra generous, as they also decided to tease some in-game footage of Valkyrie, showing off some aspects of her kit and a potential finisher.

Respawn Entertainment released another Stories from the Outlands short over on their YouTube channel yesterday, which was met by excitement from fans. Players also got details on the new season, including the name, theme, and even weapon coming to Apex Legends.

Respawn wasn’t done there. Over on their Instagram page, they also released three glitchy surveillance footage videos of Valkyrie gameplay.

The Apex Legends community has been breaking down these videos, trying to understand what they show. Dataminers GarretLeaks and Biast12 have potentially identified what some of these videos are presenting.

The first video is entitled “CAMERA 9: OPERATIONAL” and it is tough to make out exactly what is going on. With the help of Biast12, it seems this video could be hiding one of Valkyrie’s finishers, called “the After Burner.”

The second video is hard to make out; however, the video becomes clearer with the community’s help. As we know, one of Valkyrie’s abilities is her VTOL Jets, which allow her to hover in the air much like the Northstar Titan from Titanfall.

This is exactly what Biast12 believes this video is showing, while GarretLeaks thinks it could potentially be her Cluster Missiles. Towards the end of the clip, we see dark streaks that look similar to what you would see behind a missile.

The final clip is also very interesting, as it could be one of Valkyrie’s finishers, but one that dataminers haven’t identified yet.

This gameplay clip could also be her ultimate ability, which sees her take to the skies and redeploy either on her own or with her team, which would make sense as you can clearly see the fire coming out of her jets towards the end.

It’s hard to know exactly what’s going on in these videos focused on Valkyrie, but it’s great to see Respawn putting so much effort into their Legend reveals, increasing the hyper for Season 9: Legacy, which is set to release on March 4th.
