Apex Legends Season 15 arrived with a bang, introducing Catalyst, the new Legend that NICKMERCS hasn’t been too fond of, and a brand-new map for players to explore.
Now, Respawn Entertainment are introducing a new Collection Event known as ‘Wintertide’ to get players into the Winter holiday spirit, and we’ll go over everything that you need to know about it.

When is the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event?
The Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event is set to start in Season 15 on Tuesday, December 6, 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.
The Apex Legends Christmas-themed Wintertide event is likely going to run for two weeks like the previous Collection Events, meaning it should end on December 20, 2022, but this is just speculation so take it with a pinch of salt.
Wintertide Collection Event skins & Wraith Mythic skin
Collecting all of the 24 items up for grabs in the Christmas-themed Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event event will grant you a brand-new Wraith Mythic Skin called the “Apex Voidshifter.”
Bangalore, Newcastle, Crypto, Valkyrie, Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Horizon, Mad Maggie, Mirage, and Wraith will also receive brand-new winter-themed skins in the Apex Legends Wintertide event.

Winter Express LTM returns in Season 15
For the Apex Legends Wintertide Collection Event, the popular Winter Express LTM will be making its long-awaited return. Three squads will battle each other to board and capture the during its journey around the World’s Edge map.
Players had been eager to see this LTM return to the game, and this Christmas-themed event has finally granted their wish.
Apex Legends Wintertide event challenges & rewards
Thanks to an in-game bug that released the Wintertide Account Badges early, we also have information on some of the event’s rewards and challenges.
- Wintertide Avalanche: Deal 15,000 damage to enemy players in any mode
- Wintertide Wipe Out: Get 50 kills or assists in any mode
- Wintertide Restoration: Restore 2,500 health in any mode
You’ll be able to earn up to 1,600 points per day with the challenges refreshing daily. Respawn have confirmed that these challenges stack with your Battle Pass, so you can complete multiple challenges in one go.
