Apex Legends players are convinced that an in-game magazine has revealed what abilities the next Legend will have when they join the battle royale’s roster.

There are currently 23 different Legends in Apex Legends, and Respawn Entertainment bring new ones to the battle royale title through seasonal updates, with Season 15 adding Catalyst to the roster.

Each Legend boasts a unique set of abilities, and players are wondering what Respawn have planned for the next character that will arrive. Now, it seems that the developers may have left a clue about the next Legend’s abilities in the game.

Reddit user ‘iandelacerna’ shared a screenshot in the Apex Legends subreddit of an in-game magazine with the headline: “The New Science of Invisibility.” It also featured an image of a soldier with a cloak.

The cloak makes the bottom half of this character invisible, and this led to speculation that this might be a “possible teaser for a new Legend” that will arrive in a future Apex Legends seasonal update.

There have been characters with invisibility-based abilities in the game before, with Mirage’s cloaking ability allowing him to become completely invisible. One user suggested that the devs might take his ability and “give it to a new Legend like what they did to Lifeline’s res shield.”

However, other players in the thread believe that this is simply a Titanfall easter egg, with one user claiming that the character in the magazine may actually be Jack Cooper, the protagonist in Titanfall 2.

A few others simply attributed the mention of invisibility as a nod to Mirage’s abilities. At the time of writing, it’s unclear if the developers have any plans to introduce another Legend with invisibility in the near future.
