Where to find a family portrait from a shipwreck for Fortnite Week 12 challenge
Fortnite Season 5’s Week 12 Quests are aquatic themed, and will ask you to find a family portrait from a shipwreck, so here’s where you need to go.
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 offers Weekly Quests to give Fortnite players a chance to earn a ton of XP to help finish the Season 5 Battle Pass. One of Week 12’s Quests requires you to “Find a family portrait from a shipwreck.”
You only need to pick up one portrait, so this challenge is simple when you know where to look. Here’s where you can find all of them in order to complete this Epic Quest.
Where to find Fortnite family portraits
You need to head to Shipwreck Cove to the south-east of Catty Corner to find the shipwreck. Along the sandy shores will be plenty of washed-up wreckage, and the family portraits will be hidden amongst it.
Family portrait 1 location
The first family portrait can be found in a bathtub at the north-east shore of the cove. Hit the bath with a few swings of your Harvesting Tool and it’ll drop onto the sand, allowing you to interact with it to pick it up.
Family portrait 2 location
The second family portrait is between the beached boat and the rock on the west side of the cove. Just to the right of the beached canoe, you’ll find the portrait on the sand by the rock.
Simply interact with it to pick it up and complete the challenge.
Family portrait 3 location
The third and final family portrait can be found at the south-west edge of the cove. Look for the upside-down boat, and to the south of it, you’ll find the portrait on the sand between two wooden crab traps. Again, press the interact button to ‘find the family portrait.’
That covers the locations of all the portraits in Shipwreck Cove. As we’ve said before, you only need to grab one so head to the location most convenient for you.
Now that the weekly challenges have gone live, you can expect this little cove to be busy. Be ready for a fight when completing this Epic Quest.
