New Weekly Quests for Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 are now live, so get your Fishing Rod ready, as you’ll be needing it.

Fortnite Season 5 offers players a ton of XP each week for completing a series of Quests of varying difficulty. If you’re behind on finishing the Battle Pass and unlocking Baby Yoda as a companion, these weekly challenges are the perfect opportunity to catch up.

Week 11’s were Valentine’s Day themed, asking you to collect roses and find love potions around the map. Week 12’s appear to be fishing-themed, as you’ll need a Fishing Rod and Harpoon Gun to complete them.

Fortnite Season 5 Week 12 Quests

There are a total of seven Epic Quests for you to tackle this week, along with one Legendary Quest, and many of them require you to keep your Fishing Rod ready.

Here are all the Week 12 Quests:

  • Deal Damage within 15 seconds of gliding (200)
  • Visit Scenic Spot, Gorgeous George, and Mount Kay (1)
  • Destroy inflatable tubemen llamas at gas stations (3)
  • Find a family portrait from a shipwreck (1)
  • Throw a fish back into the water (1)
  • Hit different opponents with a Harpoon Gun (3)
  • Catch different weapon types from fishing spots (3)

And for the Legendary Quest, you’re asked to hit a different opponent within 10 seconds of Zero Point Dashing 25 times.

Throwing fish back into the water and catching different weapon types in fishing spots can be completed simultaneously. Get yourself a fishing rod, look for fishing spots and get fishing. Just remember to throw any fish you catch back into the water.

To deal damage within 15 seconds of gliding, simply climb up to a high point in Team Rumble and glide to your victim below before taking them out.

Dealing damage after dashing will be time-consuming, so your best bet is to stick to the desert area in the middle of the map. After breaking Zero Point Crystals and consuming them, make sure you’re constantly using the dash mechanic while fighting.

You’ll need to find a family portrait in the shipwreck, and we’ve got a location guide right here. We also have one for the Epic Quest that requires you to visit Scenic Spot, Gorgeous George, and Mount Kay.
