Here’s everything you need to know about Rocket League Season 8: Hit the Streets, including the release date, new map, new vehicle, Rocket Pass, and more.

Rocket League Season 8 release date

Rocket League Season 8 will release on September 7, 2022, at around 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET / 12 AM BST (September 8) and will end on December 7, giving players three months to complete the new Rocket Pass.

This is also the same day that Season 7 will culminate, giving players until September 7 to get everything they wish in the Season 7 Rocket Pass, as once this date rolls around, Season 8 will begin.

Inspired by the new map, Rocket League Season 8 is called “Hit the Streets,” and its Rocket Pass will be filled with “Streetwear” themed cosmetics.

Honda Civic & Edgelight

As well as free items such as the Windowed Paint Finish, Chocolate Chip Antenna, and Krush Decal, the Rocket League Season 8 Rocket Pass also brings the “first-ever IRL car to come included in Rocket Pass Premium.”

With the Octane’s hitbox, the Honda Civic Type R will arrive in the Season 8 Premium Rocket Pass as an instant unlock, and an upgraded Honda Civic Type R-LE is also available at Tier 35.

Along with the Honda Civic, players can also get the Edgelight package, which is a glowing visual effect that “wraps the bottom of the car’s body kit and will be applied automatically while using a Painted version of either the Honda Civic Type R or Honda Civic Type R-LE. These Painted versions are found above Tier 70 in the Rocket Pass Pro Tiers.”

As well as all these, there is also a variety of street-inspired cosmetics up for grabs through the tiers. Once players reach Tier 70, they can then start unlocking “Pro Rewards,” including painted versions of the Rocket Pass cosmetics.
