Pokemon Go player shares simple trick to get Dusk Form Lycanroc
The Pokemon CompanyThe most recent event from Pokemon Go allows players to evolve Rockruff into Dusk Form Lycanroc, but trainers are having a little trouble getting it. However, a player has shared some useful info on how to get a Dusk Form Lycanroc with ease.
For Pokemon Go players, getting the latest form of Lycanroc is proving to be quite a challenge. Even those who are enjoying the Timeless Travels season are complaining about the new event.
But some trainers have managed to figure out an easy way to get a “guaranteed” Dusk Form Lycanroc, and are sharing it with other players in The Silph Road community on Reddit.
This was posted by Reddit user ‘TruckNo683,’ who stated they knew a “Guaranteed way to get Dusk Form Rockruff.”
According to the OP, the trick consists of participating in Gym Raids featuring Rockruff which are previously marked by other players as Dusk Form carriers.
The OP explained: “So apparently people have been noticing that if one person battles Rockruff in a certain gym raid and they get the dusk form Rockruff it is guaranteed that everyone who battles in that gym will have the dusk form Rockruff. Anyone else notice this?”
Pokemon Go players also confirmed that if you are missing a Rockruff with the Dusk Lycanroc evolution in your collection, the Raid icon will appear as a “shaded silhouette,” much like the ones that appear on the radar when a Pokemon you don’t have in the nearby.
Other trainers quickly confirmed this and stated: “The silhouette means it’s a new ‘form’ you haven’t caught. It’s like the wild Lati@s. Technically a different form but indistinguishable.”
