A Pokemon Go player has shared some advice on how to take full advantage of the ongoing Halloween event, and the community loved their idea. It seems that this is a great time to evolve certain Dark-type Pokemon.

Pokemon Go‘s latest event has been a big hit and trainers are taking full advantage of the Halloween-themed event. As the event continues, a Pokemon Go player has shared details that many trainers seem to have overlooked.

The tip involves Pancham, and its requirements to evolve into Pangoro. Reddit user lefnire shared a simple trick with the community and many are already using it to take full advantage of the Dark-type Pokemon’s evolution.

Lefnire explained that “this is the best time to have Pancham as your buddy Pokemon,” as the requirement for it to evolve into Pangoro is to catch 32 Dark-type Pokemon while going on an adventure with Pancham.

One of the thankful Reddit users who saw lefnire’s advice said this: “I appreciate it! I didn’t know that was the task to evolve it, so I’ll probably switch mine to being my buddy now too, thanks!”

Another Pokemon Go player also noted that this is a good time to evolve other Pokemon that require you to catch certain types while having them as buddies: “Also great for G Slowbro evolution with poison types!” Galarian Slowbro requires you to catch 50 Poison-type Pokemon to trigger its evolution.

Thanks to lefnire’s advice, many trainers are now aware of this, and are taking full advantage of the Halloween event: “Yes! Great tip. I just evolved my shiny Pancham only for my next 12km egg to, funnily enough, hatch yet another shiny Pancham.”

Of course, Pancham is one of the rarest Pokemon in Pokemon Go, and getting one depends on your luck when hatching 12 Km eggs. Good luck getting your own Pancham and evolving it into Pangoro.
