New Warzone Combat Scout & Tempered perks coming in Season 5
Perks are a cornerstone of the Call of Duty: Warzone experience but have not undergone any major changes since the game’s release. However, Season 5 of Warzone will see the new Combat Scout and Tempered perks make their arrival in the Call of Duty battle royale.
Perks are essential for success in Call of Duty: Warzone as they provide you with beneficial bonuses that can be the difference between losing or winning.
However, the perks for the battle royale have not undergone any major changes. The same ones have dominated the meta throughout the life of Warzone, causing players to call for a major rework of the perk system.
However, Season 5 will be making a big change to the perk system in the Call of Duty battle royale with the arrival of the new Combat Scout and Tempered perks, bringing new gameplay opportunities for players to experience, and we have everything you need to know about them covered.
New Warzone Season 5 Perks
Combat Scout Perk
The first of the new perks is called Combat Scout, and this one provides a treasure trove of information to players when they damage an enemy.
Players who have the Combat Scout perk equipped will cause an enemy they damage to be highlighted in orange briefly and automatically be pinged.
Players who use the Combat Scout perk will ensure they know where enemies they have damaged are going and can avoid getting ambushed when rushing after them to finish the kill.
Tempered Perk
Armor is another staple of the Call of Duty battle royale, and the new Tempered perk will make some dramatic changes to armor values in Warzone.
Players who have the Tempered perk equipped will see that their armor plates will be able to absorb 75 points of damage instead of the standard 50, which means players will only need two plates of armor to be full health and will be able to heal faster and get back into fights quicker.
However, players who use the Tempered perk will only be able to have two armor plates equipped at one time and will have to dedicate their perk 2 slot to Tempered to take advantage of its armor reinforcement bonus.
There is no doubt that the arrival of the new Warzone Combat Scout and Tempered perks will make some exciting changes to the meta in the Call of Duty battle royale during Season 5.
