Helldivers 2 datamine reveals Illuminate Faction enemies & new Stratagems

Dataminers found information within the Helldivers 2 files which revealed that new Illuminate Faction and Stratagems are set to arrive in-game soon.
Helldivers 2 took the entire gaming world by storm upon release. Despite the popularity, the developers haven’t spoken about a concrete roadmap for the game so far, in terms of the content coming in the future.
The game has received positive ratings from players all around the world, and many are desperate for more. To figure out what’s in store, a dataminer started rummaging through the game files, and came across some interesting details.
A fan named ‘stodal’ took to Reddit to share what they found within the game files. According to them, the new Illuminate Faction and multiple Stratagems are set to go live in Helldivers 2 soon.
OP further elaborated that they found information about unreleased enemy types that belonged to the Illuminate Faction in Helldivers 2. These include:
- Adept – can call for allies
- Ghoul
- Illusionist – fire projectile – force choke victim
- Obelisk fire
- Outcast
- Pathfinder
- Summoner
They also found information on multiple unused Stratagems in the Helldivers 2 files. These Stratagems include but are not limited to:
- DropoffCombatWalker
- DropoffCombatWalker_PresidentReward
- RaiseFlag
- BugThumper
- MedicBackpack
- DisplacementBackpack
- DropoffCargoContainer
- HealthPackRack
- HealthPackRack_PresidentReward
- ShoulderMountedCamera
- JammedPinata
- MiniMissiles
Redditors in the comments mentioned that the Combat Walker could be the mechs that the developers had been teasing. Players also believed that the Illuminate Faction that was seen in the prequel could also return.
However, it’s worth noting that just because these names were found within the game files does not ensure that they’ll make it to the game in the near future.
