343 Industries have announced a new update patch that will address the game’s hacking issues and fix the matchmaking issues in the Big Team Battle multiplayer mode.

Halo Infinite features a ton of fun content for players to enjoy, but certain aspects of it have received criticism. This includes matchmaking issues in the Big Team Battle (BTB) multiplayer mode.

These kinds of problems can make the game less fun. Now, 343 Industries have announced a major update that will fix this problem while also addressing the issue of hackers ruining matches.

343 Industries announced this update in a new post on the Halo Waypoint website. They first provided a situation update on the state of BTB in Halo Infinite, stating that a strike force investigated the problem.

The matchmaking issues increase if there are more players and larger fireteams attempting to join a game together. The devs reassured fans that they’re “optimistic” that they have a fix for this problem.

“This went into QA last week and so far it’s looking positive,” 343 Industries wrote. “We are not seeing this issue occur internally using this build.” They didn’t give an ETA for this fix but promised they’ll release it soon.

The devs then brought up that they’re also preparing a patch for mid-February that will address instances of cheating. More details will become available as we get closer to the release of the update.

Hopefully, the developers will announce the official release date for the update patch soon. We’ll keep checking for any developments regarding this and will be sure to update this article with that information.
