Wondering whether the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is available on Android and iOS devices? Here’s all you need to know.

Plenty of Prince of Persia games were once officially available on Android and iOS, but almost all of them are now delisted. Ubisoft are currently, however, focusing heavily on mobile. After all, they announced Assassin’s Creed Mirage for the iPhone 15 Pro, and it is a native port.

Other Ubisoft franchises are also seeing mobile games, with The Division Resurgence, Assassin’s Creed Jade, and Rainbow 6 Mobile. The upcoming Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown already isn’t very taxing in terms of system requirements and runs at 60 FPS on the previous generation of consoles and the Nintendo Switch.

So, is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown coming to mobile phones? Here are all the details on the game’s availability on Android and iOS devices.

Can you play Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown on Android and iOS?

No, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is not available on Android and iOS. While the system requirements aren’t very high, the game is a full-priced AAA title, and they don’t often release on mobile devices, not least on the same day as consoles and PCs.

However, you can’t rule out the possibility of any future releases. Even previous titles in series that were, for their time, too demanding for mobile phones received a “simplified” version of the game later on.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, who are best known for Rayman and have made many mobile games for Ubisoft. Montpellier’s 2014 Valiant Hearts: The Great War will also be ported to Android and iOS devices via Netflix on January 31, 2023.

So a mobile version of The Lost Crown isn’t a far-fetched possibility. But Ubisoft hasn’t yet made any announcement, and whenever there is any official word on the game’s mobile release, we’ll be sure to update this article.
