Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is finally here, and being a Metroidvania title, many are expecting it to provide gameplay worth a dozen or so hours. If you’re looking to find out how long it will take to complete Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, here’s the main story length.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown saw its full release on January 18, 2024, and the franchise is finally back after a 14-year-long absence. While many might dive into the game for nostalgic reasons, The Lost Crown is garnering a ton of overwhelmingly positive reviews.

The Lost Crown may look humble in scope compared to previous 3D Prince of Persia games, but it is a full-priced AAA Metroidvania game. Naturally, you would want the game to have substance given how long it took the franchise to release a new title.

So, if you’re wondering how long Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will take to beat, here’s all you need to know.

How long does it take to beat Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will take around 20-25 hours to beat the main campaign. It’ll extend to 30 hours if you are a completionist and want to uncover all the secrets. Of course, the time will depend on the difficulty you choose.

But regardless it is still longer than most Metroidvania games, and even most Prince of Persia titles. If you go by HLTB, most PoP games are less than 10 hours, and the most it ever took for a completionist run is 17.5 hours, shared by two titles: 2008’s Prince of Persia and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.

All that said, you’ll have to spare more than a weekend if you’re to see through Price of Persia: The Lost Crown. For more on other Ubisoft titles, check out:
