Does EA Sports WRC have a VR Mode?
Some previous Codemasters titles, like F1 23, feature VR, but what about EA Sports WRC? Here are all the details about VR in EA Sports WRC.
There hasn’t been any real shortage of sim racers this year, as in a matter of months we had Forza Motorsport and EA Sports WRC. However, it is unlikely that Forza Motorsport will ever get VR support, based on the general disinterest Microsoft has in the platform.
But given the impressive scale already on offer, here’s whether EA has scrimped VR mode in EA Sports WRC to focus more elsewhere.
Is there VR support in EA Sports WRC?
Yes, EA Sports WRC will have VR support, but it is set to arrive later down the road after the official release.
Per EA Sports WRC’s Steam page description, VR is mentioned as a feature, along with the statement that it’ll arrive post-launch.
Unfortunately, it is listed as a PC exclusive, which means it won’t be available for PSVR 2 players. Even though this is a bummer for PlayStation, it is hardly surprising since Codemasters DiRT Rally 2.0 is also without a PSVR port. Gran Turismo remains a solitary major racing game available on PSVR.
That’s all in terms of VR support for EA Sports WRC. Whenever we get more details on its release and other information, we’ll be sure to update this article. Meanwhile, for more on other racing games, check out:
