Ghosts and Zombies are infesting Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 as part of 2022’s Fortnitemares event and they’re even haunting furniture. Destroying seven pieces of haunted household furniture will grant a free reward, so here’s their location and how to destroy them.

Fortnite’s Halloween event is roaring on, with the Fortnitemares event bringing more Rick and Morty skins, the Evil Dead’s Ash Williams, the Howler Claws, and of course, a ton of Quests to complete for free rewards.

Players can sign up for the Escape Room Quests but there are also the in-game Fortnitemares Quests, which task players with destroying haunted household furniture. Destroying seven pieces of haunted furniture gives a free cosmetic, so here’s where to find them and how to destroy them in Fortnitemares 2022.

Haunted household furniture locations in Fortnite

Haunted household furniture can be found in almost any building on the Fortnite map, but you’re better off heading to residential areas such as Greasy Grove where there are several houses, or Grim Gables where there’s a ton of furniture.

Look for furniture that’s floating off the ground and surrounded by a whispy, ghost-like outline. You’ll know it’s a piece of haunted furniture if a ghost appears after it’s destroyed.

Destroying haunted household furniture is exactly how you’d expect in Fortnite, where you can destroy it by hitting it with your pickaxe or shooting it with your weapon.

Destroy seven pieces of the haunted household furniture and you’ll be rewarded with the Chromic Tendrils Contrail. Completing 25 of the Fortnitemares Quests will grant a Chrome Glider, Back Bling, and Harvesting Tool.
