How to complete your Fortnite Season 5 Week 3 Challenges

Hamza Khalid

Week 3 of Fortnite Season 5 is here, and it’s time to take on the brand new weekly challenges. These are straightforward and easy to complete in just a few games, so here’s how you can do that.

Fortnite Season 5’s weekly challenges allow you to gain XP on a weekly basis. Last week’s challenges focused on finding clues, planting evidence, and the destruction of property. Week 3 has shifted back to tasks like killing enemies and looting chests.

The Epic quests will remain available for the rest of the season, so you can tackle them at your own leisure. You can combine them with the timed Legendary challenges to earn up to 22,000 XP, along with a cosmetic reward for finishing all the stages.

Luckily this week’s tasks are easy enough to complete quickly.

How to complete Fortnite Season 5 Week 3 Challenges

Here are all the Epic quests for Week 3:

  • Damage players with Assault Rifles or SMGs (500)
  • Headshot Damage to players with Pistols or Sniper Rifles (200)
  • Destroy Toilets (3)
  • Loot Chests in Craggy Cliffs, Holly Hedges, or Retail Row (7)
  • Eliminations with Rare Weapons or greater (3)
  • Eliminations while in a vehicle (1)
  • Loot Ammo Boxes in Salty Towers or Colossal Coliseum (7)

These challenges are worth 20,000 XP each, and the weapons required for some of them will make these tasks easy to finish. For example; all you need is a single Sniper headshot to complete one of the Week 3 quests.

Destroying 3 toilets is an easy task if you land in the right spot. You can find a ton of toilets to destroy at Flush Factory, which is located in the southern part of the map. Get that done, and then you can easily rotate to Holly Hedges from there to loot some chests.

The Legendary Challenge will have you to take out enemies while riding in a vehicle. You’ll need to score 15 eliminations in order to fully complete this task, so pick your ride wisely. The X-4 Stormwing is a good choice, so take it and finish the challenge before it expires at the end of the week.

Most of these challenges can be tackled in a single game of Team Rumble. If you’re lucky, you might be able to tackle them all within the same game, or at most two.

Finding clues and planting evidence during Week 2 may have been more complicated than just shooting your guns, but it was interesting. Even though those types of challenges were not present this week, we might still see them again soon enough.

Be sure to complete Season 5’s weekly challenges if you want to earn some serious XP and level up fast. With Operation Snowdown just around the corner, We’ll keep you updated about every group of new tasks that we see in Fortnite Season 5.
