After the release of the new Avatar skins in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2, players are furious with the skin prices and feel they’re too expensive.

Fortnite‘s Avatar skins have arrived in Chapter 5 Season 2 but players are extremely dissatisfied with the cost and want the devs to “stop overpricing” them. Many Avatar: The Last Airbender fans were quite excited to try out the skins of their favorite characters but it seems like some will have to pass on the idea due to their prices.

Reddit user ‘vincenzodraws’ posted about this in the FortniteBR subreddit as they claimed that “the new Avatar skins are at a price much higher than they should be” in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 and even called for the devs to “value their players.”

Additionally, with rarity in Fortnite shops being removed in the same update as well, the OP pointed out the devs were ramping up the cost of skins that were “not worth the price charged.”

With each character’s skin being charged at 2,000 V-Bucks, players are furious with the pricing. One of them pointed out that “Frieza and Cell together were 2,300 [V-Bucks], [where] Frieza had 3 styles and Cell had 2.” However, the new Zuko and Katara bundle costs players 3,200 VB.

Some players went ahead and joked about how “skinflation sucks” in Fortnite while others added they “went from excited to get all of them [to] seeing the prices and deciding to get none of them.”

Now that more and more players are raising their voices against the prices in the recent Avatar: The Last Airbender event, what action the devs take remains to be seen.
