Fortnite leaker claims controversial vehicle could return in Season 4
A notable Fortnite leaker has revealed some of the content that might be included in Chapter 3, Season 4, including a controversial vehicle that has been absent from the game for some time.
The Fortnite community was treated to plenty of fun new additions in Chapter 3, Season 3, including a Dragon Ball crossover that brought brand-new cosmetic skins to unlock and challenges to complete.
Now, players are looking ahead to Chapter 3, Season 4, and a new leak might have revealed some of the content that will be featured in the update, including the return of a controversial vehicle in Fortnite.
Prominent data miner HYPEX tweeted a list of all the vehicles that could appear in the upcoming seasonal update, including motorcycles and a new mech. The list also mentioned that updated Planes could arrive in Season 4.
Planes were first added to the game back in Chapter 1, Season 7, and players could use them to take out enemies from above. When it ran out of fuel, the X-4 Stormwing Plane could be refueled with a gas can or at a gas station.
This vehicle proved to be unpopular among Fortnite players, and there were complaints about it being too overpowered. Planes could smash through structures and take out players quickly from above.
Planes ended up being removed altogether in Chapter 1, Season 8. However, they have been temporarily unvaulted a few times since then, and this leak claims that Epic Games have updated them recently.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that this is just a leak, and this information hasn’t been confirmed by the developers. We’ll need to wait for the devs to verify whether or not Planes will return soon.
