With every new title, EA updates its roster of players with new and improved ratings based on how they performed in the previous season, and FIFA 23 is no exception. The 2021/22 campaign in France saw PSG cruise to yet another title, which will no doubt impact the updated FIFA 23 ratings.
When it comes to FIFA 23 ratings, Ligue 1 is once again a top-heavy league. This means that PSG carries the majority of the high-rated Ultimate Team players while the other top teams in France fail to make an impact.

But who will be the best players in Ligue 1? We’ve put together EA’s top 23 ratings, and predicted the best players from each Ligue 1 club.
The summer transfer window has been particularly quiet for powerhouse PSG, but they still managed to bring Fabian and Carlos Soler through the door. Traditionally, the club splashes cash on new superstars every summer, but PSG’s best players in FIFA 23 will be players who have been with the club for at least a year.

The most dangerous attack in football comprised of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar all retained high overalls in FIFA 23. However, both Messi and Neymar received downgrades of -2.

Marquinhos is one of the few PSG players to receive a rating upgrade as Hakimi, Ramos, and Donnarumma, joined Messi and Neymar in taking a step back in FIFA 23.
Elsewhere, Wissam Ben Yedder is as consistent as ever in the top ten after his 25-goal season.
FIFA 23 Ligue 1 rating predictions: Every team’s best players
In Ligue 1, the top ten list is monopolized by PSG, as even clubs who finished last season in the top four will fail to enlist several high-rated players. Of course, EA will still administer upgrades and downgrades across the league based on performance.
