FIFA 23 OTW upgrade tracker

We’ve created a FIFA 23 Ones to Watch tracker, grouping OTW players eligible for upgrades in one spot so you can keep track of the electrifying cards up for grabs in Ultimate Team.

Since its launch, Ultimate Team players have been enjoying the new Chemistry system in FIFA 23 as it has allowed for interesting squad-building possibilities. For this reason, players snapped up as many Ones to Watch cards as possible.

The Ones to Watch promo highlights the most exciting moves from the summer transfer window and these players are eligible for some major upgrades. If you’ve packed, bought, or secured any OTW players through SBCs or Objectives, you’re going to want to track their upgrades.

The OTW upgrade tracker showcases which players are in line for a boost thanks to real-life performances.

Whether you want to track the FIFA 23 upgrade status of your players or you’re looking to snipe some off the Transfer Market, here is our Ones to Watch tracker with a list of all confirmed upgrades.

So far, every player, except Corentin Tolisso, has played their eight Wins to Watch matches. Interestingly enough, the Lyon midfielder will have his final chance to secure this upgrade on Wednesday, December 28 when Ligue 1 returns following the World Cup.

Unfortunately, OTW Tyler Adams is the only player to have failed to earn a Wins to Watch upgrade.

With the World Cup upgrades now in play, keep in mind that Erling Haaland and Franck Kessie are not eligible for World Cup upgrades seeing as Norway and Ivory Coast are not participating in Qatar.

FUT Ones to Watch upgrades explained

The Ones to Watch cards in FIFA 23 are live cards eligible for upgrades and EA Sports will deliver OTW upgrades by using real-life results. There are three methods involved in determining OTW upgrades in FIFA 23 and we’ll list them below.

TOTW upgrade

For starters, “Ones To Watch items will upgrade when they receive a performance-based special item such as Team of the Week or Man of the Match.” If this is the case, your Ones to Watch card will mirror the stats of the TOTW card.

This means that players can earn more than one upgrade via TOTW if a player earns multiple in-form cards throughout FIFA 23. In addition, if the player meets the requirements for the following two upgrades, they will stack on top of the latest TOTW stats.

Wins to Watch

The second method is called ‘Wins to Watch’ and it involves the player’s club winning domestic matches. If a player’s club wins three of their next eight domestic league matches as of September 30, they will receive a one-time +1 upgrade. Players are eligible for this upgrade whether they feature in the game or not.

Nations to Watch

The next method is called ‘Nations to Watch’ and it also uses wins to determine an upgrade, but this time players will have to monitor International play at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The competition kicked off on November 20, and if a player’s nation wins a game at the World Cup, they’ll receive a one-time +1 upgrade.

The player does not have to be involved with the national team squad to be eligible for the upgrade.
