EA have teased a possible release date for the Women’s World Cup update.

For the very first time in the series, FIFA 23 will feature the Women’s World Cup. The World Cup takes place in Australia and New Zealand in 2023, and players will be able to experience the whole tournament in-game with licensed teams, kits, and standings.

Similar to the men’s competition, the Women’s World Cup will arrive as a free update and will add three new game modes. EA haven’t confirmed its release date yet, but they stated that we can expect it at the end of June.

  • FIFA World Cup 2022 Tournaments: Play through the entire Qatar World Cup from start to finish, with the option to replace any nation with a team that didn’t qualify from the FIFA 23 roster.
  • Online Tournament: Try and claim the World Cup trophy by starting in the knockout stages and beating four real players in online matches.
  • FIFA World Cup Live: An ever-changing mode that updates based on how the competition unfolds. Players can recreate every fixture of Qatar 2022 with authentic lineups.
