As risky as they might be, opening packs is usually the best way to acquire rare player items during the game’s early days. The only alternative for buying specific players is through the transfer market, but gathering a massive amount of coins is far from easy.
This makes it likely that many players will be counting on their pack luck to earn the rarest items, just like X user (formerly Twitter) ‘Harry Bowman’ did. While most players will find varying degrees of success, Harry Bowman hit the jackpot in every sense of the word.
The user opened a Jumbo Rare Players Pack and was quickly met with the stunning walkout animation for Kylian Mbappe. The Frenchman alone is enough to create a formidable team, but there was an even bigger surprise in store for this player. Just seconds after Mbappe’s reveal, none other than Ronaldo pops up from the side.
The Brazillian Icon takes center stage as part of EA FC 24‘s new double walkout animation, leaving the player absolutely stunned. Fans online reacted in a similar fashion, with one user even saying, “More chance of winning the lottery than that happening.”
Both players came with the ‘Untradeable’ status, so the player can’t sell them for profit, but it does mean their attack is sorted for the rest of the year. The pack also arrived during the very first week of the game, which makes it even more incredible. In terms of value, the pack was worth around 13 million coins as Mbappe costs more than 3 million on the current market, while Ronaldo is priced at almost 10 million coins.
While we doubt that most players will have this sort of pack luck, it certainly won’t stop them from trying throughout the EA FC Ultimate Team season.
