Pulling incredible cards through packs in EA FC 24 Ultimate Team usually requires a sizable investment from the player. However, one lucky individual hit the ultimate jackpot while spending next to nothing.

EA FC 24 Ultimate Team enjoyed a content frenzy as the devs went above and beyond with the game’s Black Friday promo. Titled Thunderstruck, it delivered a solid selection of incredible cards to the game, many of which are eligible for further upgrades. The promo featured Icons such as Ronaldinho, Kaka, and Cryuff to name a few. Naturally, these cards immediately climbed up the wishlist of many players.

To compliment the release, the game received special SBCs, and a flurry of packs that offered better odds of grabbing a Thunderstruck player. EA Sports even provided players with two ridiculously cheap packs to get them involved in the action. Costing 10 and 30 coins respectively, the content of these packs was as unremarkable as their price for most players.

However, Lady Luck shined brightly on some players, including X user ‘SpliTzRH’ (formerly Twitter). A clip shared by the user displays them submitting the 30-coin admission fee and then quickly skipping the pack animation. Little did they know that they missed out on a stunning double walkout, as the user packed Thunderstruck Ronaldinho and Puskas in a single pack.

Putting aside the fact that both cards are amazing in-game, their market values alone are enough to spell out just how lucky the user got. Ronaldhino’s transfer market value currently sits at 10 million coins while Puskas costs around 2.5 million. This means that the user earned players worth more than 12.5 million coins while spending just 30.

It’s important to note that both players are untradeable and cannot be sold, although they’re certainly good enough to be solid throughout the game’s cycle.

Users in the comments section were just as stunned as us with one user saying, “Sorry but this is a pure joke. How on earth is this fair?” Another user stated, “Actually annoys me watching this, fair play to the person receiving this pack just wish I had some luck on any FIFA.”

Many players have gotten lucky with packs in recent days. But it is safe to say that this user takes the cake.
