Cyberpunk 2077 player finds simple trick to get permanent buffs
CD Projekt RedCyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is here and players are discovering more and more things about Dogtown, including the DLC scenario where you play the role of a secret agent at the service of the NUSA.
Dogtown is the setting of the latest DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, where you dive into a plot full of conspiracies, spycraft, and of course, a lot of shady dealings.
In the Dogtown black market, there are a lot of “Illegal” weapons and items to purchase. Among them, a player has found certain items that should be worth your time, as they grant permanent buffs for your character.
Reddit user spudral noticed the buffs and gave other players the tip: “Make sure you visit food and drug vendors. They carry permanent buffs.”
The Black Market is the first area you visit in Dogtown when you start the Phantom Liberty introductory mission. Once you get the freedom to move your character after the cutscene, you can visit all stalls and purchase your items.
Not all the street vendors in the Cyberpunk 2077 Black Market of Dogtown sell permanent buff items. Here’s a full list of the vendors that sell permanent buff items:
- The “Quickhack Software & DAEMONS” seller
- The “Scrapper” Weapons vendor
- The “Neurodance” sellers (Russian Brothers)
- Food and drink vendors
- The drug/healing items vendor
Some of the items grant useful buffs like increased carry capacity, increased RAM recovery rate, increased damage resistance, and increased max health. All of these items are sold for 12000 Eddies (in-game currency) and can be purchased only one time.
So the next time you are around the Dogtown market in Cyberpunk 2077, make sure to get these interesting items to permanently increase your stats.
