Today marks the final day in Call of Duty where players on PlayStation will get DLC packs after Xbox players. Advanced Warfare’s Reckoning DLC pack released this morning on PS4 and PS3, and it’s the last DLC pack that falls within the Microsoft DLC agreement.

Going forward, starting with Black Ops III, all Call of Duty DLC packs will be available first on PlayStation and then release 30 days after on Xbox and PC. Sony announced this news back at E3, stating that ‘PlayStation 4 is the new home of Call of Duty’ and that Black Ops 3 starts a ‘new era for this famed franchise.’

This agreement between Activision and Sony started with the Black Ops 3 beta, where PS4 gamers got access first. In addition, eSports is also shifting to PS4 starting with Black Ops 3.

Xbox gamers have been receiving Call of Duty DLC first since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which was released back in 2009.
