New details on Black Ops 4 Blackout’s Cargo Truck vehicle

There’s a total of five vehicles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout mode, with all five being revealed earlier this week by GameInformer. Vehicles were announced as part of Blackout back in May, giving players a way to get across the map faster.

One of the vehicles in Blackout is a Cargo Truck, which holds a total of 4 people, including 1 driver and 3 passengers. Cargo Truck, however, is a very unique vehicle in Blackout.

Passengers in the Cargo Truck are free to move around and shoot if they see enemies while a player drives the truck.

More importantly, the cargo truck will actually store items that may not have fit into your inventory — meaning it’s additional source of getting desired items across the map if you need as you move around in Blackout. Vahn also mentioned that the cargo truck does have an inventory limit, so once that limit is passed items will just start falling off the truck when attempting to place it on the vehicle.

More so, vehicles in Blackout have a disadvantage to keep the mode balanced. Vehicles are loud and are easy to destroy using RPGs that are available around the maps.

Unfortunately, there’s also the danger of putting all your eggs in one basket and then having that basket explode. “We don’t make vehicles complicated to blow up,” Vonderhaar says with a smile. “There is a rocket launcher to find, after all.”
